Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov stated on June 20 that the West has not reached out to Moscow directly to discuss the subject of President Vladimir Putin’s June 14 extensive proposal for a new Eurasian security architecture. “I have seen just public ones,” Ushakov said, referring to the instant rejection, almost before Putin had finished his speech, by President Biden, Chancellor Scholz and other Western leaders.
