During the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) foreign ministerial in Laos, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and supposedly rebuked China for its support of Russia’s defense industry. According to State Department press release, “The Secretary reiterated serious concern with PRC support for Russia’s defense industrial base and made clear that if the P.R.C. does not act to address this threat to European security, the United States will continue to take appropriate measures to do so.”
