British-influenced U.S. intelligence agencies, led by the Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines, the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security, and joined by the NATO-affiliated Atlantic Council’s Digital Forensic Research Lab, will be heavily involved in attempting to steer the 2024 U.S. Presidential election. The July 29 AP article, “Russia Is Relying on Unwitting Americans To Spread Election Disinformation, U.S. Officials Say,” lays out some of this openly. The threat of Russia or Iran providing disinformation and rumors will be the boogey-man that the U.S. intelligence agencies employ to conduct thought-control to attempt to make sure that reality and the promulgation of a positive mission for mankind do not break into the campaign.
The current intelligence scenario sounds like an echo of the MI6 Sir Richard Dearlove-Christopher Steele 2016 Russiagate operation.
AP opens: “The Kremlin is turning to unwitting Americans and commercial public relations firms in Russia to spread disinformation about the U.S. presidential race, top intelligence officials said Monday, detailing the latest efforts by America’s adversaries to shape public opinion ahead of the 2024 election.” It asserts that “Russia, Iran and China” are determined to “seed the internet with false and incendiary claims about American democracy to undermine faith in the election.”
AP raises the specter of foreign influence: “‘The American public should know that content that they read online—especially on social media—could be foreign propaganda, even if it appears to be coming from fellow Americans or originating in the United States,’ said an official from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence who briefed reporters [on July 29] on condition of anonymity under rules set by the office of the director.” DNI Avril Haines in the past—and present—has lied on behalf of the exigencies of Anglo-American intelligence agencies. On July 29, officials from the FBI and Office of Homeland Security joined the DNI in delivering briefings to reporters on how “The Russians Are Coming” stories should be fabricated and shaped.
“Groups linked to the Kremlin are increasingly hiring marketing and communications firms located within Russia to outsource some of the work of creating digital propaganda while also covering their tracks, the officials said during the briefing with reporters,” AP pronounced. Then comes the punchline: Americans are doing Russia’s dirty work: “The ultimate goal, however, is to get Americans to spread Russian disinformation without questioning its origin. People are far more likely to trust and repost information that they believe is coming from a domestic source,” the intelligence briefers said, according to AP. That would include groups and individuals such as the Sare and Vega campaigns, EIR, Scott Ritter, and former Col. Richard Black.
