On July 13 retired U.S. ambassador and career diplomat Chas Freeman gave an interview to Neutrality Studies channel. Freeman spoke of last week’s NATO summit in Washington which was designed to show “unity” and “empowerment,” but was more of a retreat to a citadel, excluding and at odds with most of the world.
Hungary is willing to talk and Russia is willing to talk, but under influence of the U.S. and the British, the West is not allowed to negotiate. Hungary is not with Russia, but it is not for the war on Russia.
