Diane Sare, independent candidate for U.S. Senate in New York, gave an in-depth interview to Sputnik International on July 21, in the aftermath of Biden’s withdrawal from his otherwise-assured nomination as the Democratic Party candidate for President. The interview, including a large photograph of Mrs. Sare, bore the title, “U.S. Hasn’t Had Functional Leader Since Biden Took Office, Dems Have Few Alternatives—Senate Hopeful.”

Sare described President Joe Biden as unfit to be President, as are all the other candidates currently running. While attacking former President Donald Trump’s support for Israel’s genocide against Palestine, she went on that “Trump has pledged to end the Ukraine-Russia war. … He has truthfully stated that Ukraine is not and cannot win that war, and he has publicly stated that NATO expansion was a factor in causing the conflict.”

Sare assessed that “unfortunately, the United States is not yet playing the role of the nation which defeated that ideology with its 1776 Declaration of Independence. Our nation and most of the Western nations are currently led by dinosaurs that cannot fathom a new dynamic on the planet based on mutual respect for sovereignty and the dignity of man.”
