British Prime Minister’s Office Walks Back Permission for Kyiv To Attack Russia Anywhere

The U.K. Prime Minister’s office backed down from the claim that the new Prime Minister Keir Starmer had given Ukraine permission to use U.K.-supplied Storm Shadow cruise missiles against targets anywhere in Russia. First, The Telegraph, aka Torygraph, reported early yesterday that Starmer had signaled that Storm Shadows can be fired by Ukraine into Russia, and that it was up to Ukraine how it used the Storm Shadows.

Today, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in response."This morning, I learned about the permission to use Storm Shadow missiles against military targets in Russian territory. Today, we had the opportunity to discuss the practical implementation of this decision.”
