Correction to Slug on Offensive ‘Fires’ in Orbit

There’s an error in the slug “U.S. Space Command Seeking To Put Offensive ‘Fires’ In Orbit” appearing in the Aug. 20 morning briefing which changes its meaning from that which was intended. The first sentence in the second paragraph reads: Whiting explained exactly what he meant by “space fires,” but it should read: Whiting didn’t explain exactly what he meant by “space fires.”
