Apparently, at yesterday’s informal meeting of EU foreign ministers, Hungary’s Peter Szijjarto refused to accede to the wishes of EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, on using EU money to reimburse countries for sending weapons to Ukraine. For over a year now, Hungary has vetoed the usage of some €6 billion ($6.6 billion) under the rubric of a 2021 initiative, the “European Peace Facility” (EPF).
