A British journalist with close ties to the British Empire’s Royal Family, Craig Brown, has written an authorized biography of Queen Elizabeth II. Voyage Around the Queen is being serialized in London’s Daily Mail.
The Queen, who hosted everyone from Idi Amin to Emperor Hirohito, is quoted in the new book as having said that then-President Donald Trump is “very rude.” Referring to Trump’s trip to London in June 2019, Brown writes that, “she particularly disliked the way he couldn’t stop looking over her shoulder, as though in search of others more interesting.”
