Türkiye will join the genocide case against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) on Aug. 7, announced the Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan yesterday during a joint press conference in Cairo with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty.

In separate remarks earlier in the day, Fidan told reporters that Israel’s prevention of aid efforts is the “first stage of the genocide against the other side of the border…. If we do not stop this massacre here together, humanity will be complicit. Therefore, we must strive to provide all possible assistance and increase all pressure on Israel.”

Of some note, Fidan also had a meeting Egyptian President Adbel Fattah el Sisi with on Aug. 5.
