Clapper and Brennan: 'We Lied About Iraq And Hunter's Laptop, So Trust Us on Kamala'

Nine intelligence- and/or security-related U.S. officials who famously and blatantly intervened in the 2020 presidential election, despite their corrupt motivations having been exposed, have weighed in once again. Led by the inimitable James Clapper, former Director of National Intelligence, and John Brennan, former CIA Director, the nine endorsed Kamala Harris over Donald Trump for two reasons: she would be “a serious and capable Commander-in-Chief” and she would “defend... American democracy.”

In 2020, after Hunter Biden had carelessly abandoned his laptop, and revelations about the family business (led by his father Joe Biden) selling influence over U.S. foreign policy decisions to foreign groupings (notably Ukraine), a Biden campaign manager named Antony Blinken arranged for 51 intelligence- and/or security-related U.S. officials to weigh in. They put their reputations on the line, publicly declaring their considered opinion that it was not Hunter’s laptop, but more likely a Russian intelligence trick messing with the U.S. election.
