Diane Sare Addresses ‘Rage Against the War Machine’ Rally in Washington

Diane Sare, independent candidate for the U.S. Senate from New York, addressed yesterday’s “Rage Against the War Machine” rally in Washington, D.C.

Thanks Angela and Nick. I’m glad to be here again. I wish it weren’t necessary, and I think it’s more dangerous this time than it was before.

I don’t think it would be prudent to depend on the alleged rationality of Raytheon’s Lloyd Austin to keep Biden from caving to Keir Starmer and allowing Zelenskyy to use long-range missiles to strike deep inside of Russia. Putin apparently agrees with me.

In 1971, an American economist warned that if Nixon decoupled the dollar from gold, and brought down the Bretton Woods system, that the United States would be plunged into fascism and a state of perpetual war. That economist was Lyndon LaRouche. In 1975, LaRouche proposed an International Development Bank and secured an agreement from the Ba’ath Party in Iraq to fund an Israel-Palestine peace agreement based on greening the desert. Henry Kissinger personally flew to Paris, France to stop that from occurring, and in 1982 Kissinger wrote a personal letter to the head of the FBI saying “we have to do something about LaRouche—his people are getting obnoxious.”

LaRouche and his wife continued their efforts to bring an end to the IMF and World Bank dictatorship. They met with Indira Gandhi, when she was the head of the Non-Aligned Movement, and with the President of Mexico [José López Portillo]. LaRouche even became Ronald Reagan’s back-channel to the Soviet Union to make an offer of joint laser defense against nuclear missiles to end the threat of nuclear war, and in 1986 400 U.S. Marshals, FBI agents and County Sheriffs assembled at LaRouche’s home with the intent to assassinate him. When Reagan called that off, they surrounded LaRouche’s office, stole thousands of papers and declared all of his publications involuntarily bankrupt. Meanwhile the news media in a coordinated fashion did their job: LaRouche was a “political extremist,” a “crackpot,” an “anti-Semite,” a “fringe cult leader.” The slander campaign was so effective that there might even be people here who cringed when I brought up his name. By 1989 LaRouche and a dozen of his associates were in prison. His sentence was 15 years and Henry Kissinger wrote to the President’s Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board to say LaRouche should not be released on parole. He served 5 years.

Does this sound familiar? We have a presidential candidate who has called for ending the war between Russia and Ukraine being targeted for assassination, and not by Iran. I will say other presidential candidates are denied ballot status and press coverage. I’m on the ballot in the State of New York against Gillibrand. I got 70,000 signatures, but according to the press I don’t exist! In fact you may not even see me here, it’s just the mirage. We have a Democratic Party nominee who promises to make our military more lethal, and she didn’t even get one single vote in any Democratic primary!

Believe it or not, our great advantage is the collapse of this stinking mess of a trans-Atlantic system. These criminal bastards can’t hold it together, no matter what—no matter how much money they print, no matter how much money they don’t print, no matter how much they raise the interest rates or lower the interest rates, no matter how many Palestinian children they murder—they cannot save their system. This is their Achilles’ heel and we have to say it. Stop worshiping the stock market fools. Jamie Dimon should be in jail. Larry Fink should be in jail.
