In response to a draft UN resolution introduced by the Palestinian Authority (PA) calling for the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the occupied territories within six months and a right of return for Palestinians, Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz has threatened to “break and dissolve” the Palestinian Authority, reports the Times of Israel.

The PA resolution, which calls for forcing Israel to implement the decisions of the International Court of Justice, is expected to be voted on next week.

Katz’s response has been to set up a coordination among allies to impose “severe sanctions” against the PA if it insists on making its demands at the UN.
