Russia Plans Substantial Increase of Power Supply for Its Far East

Russia’s Energy Ministry sees the need to construct an additional 11 GW of capacity in the country’s Far East, Energy Minister Sergei Tsivilev said during an interview with Rossiya 24 TV on Sept. 6. The project is planned to be completed by 2036.
