U.S. Condones Escalations in Lebanon, Still Blames Hezbollah

As strikes between Israel and Lebanon escalate, the Biden administration continued its policy of condoning the Netanyahu regime’s ongoing genocide across the region, which is being carried out principally with American weapons, while hypocritically expressing its “concerns” and “regrets” over the butchery. In comments to reporters on the sidelines of yesterday’s Quad summit in Delaware, National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan praised reports that Israeli airstrikes on Beirut may have killed a top Hezbollah commander, who had reportedly been involved in the Oct. 23,1983 bombing of the U.S. Marine barracks in Beirut that killed 241 U.S. servicemembers and the April 18, 1983 bombing of the U.S. Embassy in Beirut that killed 63 people, reported Politico.
