Iran sent a note to Washington, via Qatar, that “the phase of unilateral self-restraint” regarding Israel has ended, according to today’s Al Jazeera, based upon an unnamed Iranian source. It has been previously reported that Iran had exercised month after month of such restraint, as civilian deaths skyrocketed in Gaza, due to the U.S.’s request that it would help Washington secure a peace deal with Israel. It is a minor miracle that such patience and self-restraint was extended through the slaughter of tens of thousands of women and children.
