Iranian Foreign Minister Meets with Saudi Crown Prince in Riyadh

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi was in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia yesterday, where he met with both Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS). In a post on his X account early Oct. 10, Araghchi said he had held “very important discussions on critical issues of common concern” with the Crown Prince, reported Tasnim. “Israeli regime is dragging the whole region into a catastrophe. Insight, wisdom, courage and cooperation are what the region needs to overcome this challenging time,” stressed Araghchi. He also briefed the Crown Prince on his recent visits to Lebanon and Syria, calling for joint cooperation among all regional countries and the employment of all capacities to put an immediate end to the Israeli regime’s military onslaught against Gaza and Lebanon.
