Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant told CNN yesterday that no options have been ruled out. “Everything is on the table,” said Gallant. “Israel has capabilities to hit targets near and far—we have proved it. We will respond to the Iranian attack appropriately. We will not stand by and neither should the international community,” Gallant said.
According to the Times of Israel and the CNN report, Gallant will be coming to Washington, this week, and will be meeting with Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin at the Pentagon on Oct. 9. Gallant is also expected to meet with other senior Biden administration officials as well, though no other meetings have been announced.
