Russian Court Freezes Almost $1 Billion of JPMorgan Chase's Money

In an ongoing legal battle, originating from Ukraine’s 2022 liquidation of a subsidiary of Russia’s Sberbank, yesterday the Moscow Region arbitration court froze almost $1 billion worth of funds within Russia of JPMorgan Chase and the Bank of New York Mellon. It is an interim measure.
