Hungary’s Szijjarto Asserts NATO Could Have Prevented Ukraine War

Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto argues that the current standoff between Russia and the West could have been avoided if NATO and the U.S. had engaged in serious talks on Moscow’s demand for security guarantees. He was referring to the draft treaties that Moscow put on the table on December 15 2021, calling for NATO to return to its 2021 borders, but which NATO refused to even discuss.
