According to a report posted on Ynet, sources in Israel said on Saturday night, Oct.12, that the United States has agreed to immediately transfer to Israel a THAAD air defense system to assist in intercepting ballistic missiles from Iran, which are expected in response to the anticipated Israeli response to Iran’s response to Israel’s actions.
U.S. sources told Ynet, one of Israel’s major news agencies in Hebrew and English, that such a decision had not been made, and there has been no confirmation from the U.S. directly that it has agreed to supply the system.
