The Wall Street Journal has published the claim that space entrepreneur and billionaire Elon Musk has regular contact with Vladimir Putin—no doubt to cause problems for the space executive, who has been active on the Presidential campaign trail on behalf of Donald Trump. The claims have been denied both by Musk and the Kremlin. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the only episode of communication between the Kremlin and Musk was a telephone conversation, in which President Putin and Musk discussed “space, as well as modern and promising technologies.” According to Peskov, neither Putin nor other Russian officials have held “regular conversations” with Musk.
