Ukrainian (acting) President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who was in Paris today to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron, told reporters afterwards that he had discussed his “victory plan” to defeat Russia with the French President, reported Le Monde. “Before winter we need your support,” he added, acknowledging “a difficult situation in the east” and a “big deficit” in terms of some equipment.
Macron, without elaborating, said Zelenskyy had outlined Ukraine’s “plan for the next weeks” and that the pair had discussed strategy for the “next weeks and months.” Macron emphasized that he had reaffirmed France’s support “for the Ukrainian resistance against the Russian invasion.”
