Justice Department Drops All Federal Cases Against Trump

The U.S. Department of Justice has dropped all federal cases against President-elect Donald Trump after Special Counsel Jack Smith moved to dismiss all the charges. Then on Nov. 25, a U.S. district judge closed the cases. “Today’s decision by the Department of Justice ends the unconstitutional federal cases against President Trump, and is a major victory for the rule of law,” said Steven Cheung, Trump’s Communications Director for his transition team.
