A survey done by the Körber Foundation in Germany says that a broad majority of Germans views the United States as their most important partner. Yet 52% see the plans to station U.S. missiles on German territory, increasing the danger of war with Russia. In Germany’s five Eastern states, the opposition rises to 69%.
