New York Times Strings Together the Worst Imaginable Proposals for Ukraine

Published on Nov. 21, the same day that Russia unveiled its game-changer Oreshnik hypersonic missile in a strike against Ukraine, the New York Times ran an article which was phenomenally delusional, even by the Times’s standards. It proposed that the best way to bring peace to Ukraine to is to either a) invite them to join NATO right now; or b) “several [Biden administration] officials even suggested that Mr. Biden could return nuclear weapons to Ukraine that were taken from it after the fall of the Soviet Union. That would be an instant and enormous deterrent. But such a step would be complicated and have serious implications.”
