First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs Vladimir Dzhabarov, in response to Russian news site TASS, said the following about the U.S. decision to allow Ukraine to strike Russia using long-range missiles:
“I think they won’t take us by surprise. I have faith in that. Nevertheless, this is an unprecedented step. It is a very big step toward the beginning of World War III, and the Americans will make it with the hands of an outgoing elder who will no longer be responsible for anything in two months,” Dzhabarov said.
