Following Trump’s selection of Matt Gaetz to be Attorney General, he has also picked a few other well-known lawyers who have been part of his recent legal defense teams to fill secondary positions. Todd Blanche, one of his defense lawyers during the Stormy Daniels case, was selected for deputy attorney general—the No. 2 job at the U.S. Department of Justice.
Another one of Trump’s lawyers during the Daniels case, Emil Bove, will reportedly be nominated to be principal associate deputy attorney general, No. 3. Blanche and Bove both once worked in top roles in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York.
