Members of the European Parliament traveled to Georgia to help promote the ongoing “color revolution” there, which has so far failed miserably in overthrowing the elected government. The embattled President, the pro-EU Salome Zourabichvili, whose term is ending, has refused to leave the presidential residence, in spite of the landslide victory of the Georgia Dream party, which supports continued relations with the Russian Federation. While the visit was billed as a “fact-finding mission,” similar to the antics of the notorious Victoria Nuland during the Ukrainian Maidan, the parliamentarians were on the street with those protesting the results of the election. Among these were parliamentarians from Poland and Lithuania.
