Former Georgian President Leaves Office Peacefully

After weeks of vowing that she wouldn’t, Georgia’s former President Salome Zourabichvili left the presidential palace on Sunday, Dec. 29, to make way for newly inaugurated President Mikheil Kavelashvili.
