Hungary and Bulgaria Bypass U.S. Sanctions Against Gazprom

As Interfax reports, Hungary and Bulgaria have found a legally and financially acceptable solution for both countries to continue the transit of Russian gas through Bulgaria to Hungary amid U.S. sanctions against Gazprombank.

Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto wrote on a personal page on social media that Hungary pays for Russian gas through Gazprombank, and Bulgaria receives funds through Gazprombank for transiting gas, in a solution that is not subject to sanctions.
