On Dec. 19, the Wall Street Journal published a lengthy article, “How the White House Functioned With a Diminished Biden in Charge,” which makes a very thorough case for what everyone already knew: Biden is not running the White House.
The authors proudly state that they interviewed “nearly 50 people, including those who participated in or had direct knowledge of the operations,” for an inside picture of how the Biden White House operated. “Presidents always have gatekeepers. But in Biden’s case, the walls around him were higher and the controls greater, according to Democratic lawmakers, donors and aides who worked for Biden and other administrations.”
