When Ukrainian troops retreated in October from the city of Selidovo, in the Donetsk People’s Republic, there were reports of elderly civilians left dead in the streets. Today Pravda reported that the International Public Tribunal on the Crimes of Ukrainian Neo-Nazis, with human rights defenders drawn from 30 countries, found evidence of a deliberate mass shooting of unarmed civilians. Chairman of the Tribunal Maksim Grigoriev stated: “Corpses of elderly people lay in the streets.... Most of them were shot in the head and neck, at point-blank range. We interviewed about 40 people. All of them said that on the eve of Ukraine’s retreat, machine gunners initially were being cunning; they requested to open the doors, offering humanitarian assistance. If someone opened the door to them, they immediately opened fire.”
Radion Miroshnik, Russian Ambassador-at-large, said that they plan to present the report of the Tribunal at international platforms. As reported yesterday by TASS, Miroshnik said that the report would “be analyzed in detail, and a corresponding document will be prepared: all our missions to international organizations will receive detailed information so it can be used on international platforms.... Not a single crime of this nature can go unpunished.” Earlier, Miroshnik had told RIA Novosti: “When the West started talking about peace negotiations, Zelensky started preparing ‘Bucha 2’, but in Selidovo.”
