Iran’s Mehr News claimed in a report this morning that U.S. forces in Syria are stealing air defense equipment that had belonged to the Syrian army prior to the fall of the Assad government. Syrian sources told local media that the U.S. military, along with their affiliated “Syrian Democratic Forces” (SDF), attacked a barracks in Deir Ezzor, reported Mehr. They transported the Syrian Army’s latest air defense systems to other areas in large trucks.
