Steve Bannon, who sees himself as the creator and true leader of the MAGA movement, has escalated his attack on Donald Trump, through wild denunciations of Elon Musk. His raving accusations appear in the Italian daily Corriere Della Sera, dated Jan. 8.
In the interview, Bannon called Musk “a truly evil man” and said he was committed to getting rid of him by inauguration. Bannon said that “made it my personal thing to take this guy down.” Bannon claimed that he had accepted Musk’s presence “before, because he put money in, I was prepared to tolerate it; I’m not prepared to tolerate it anymore.”
Bannon has accused Musk of selling out the MAGA movement’s anti-immigrant demands. When Trump backed Musk, Bannon warned this would break the unity of MAGA.
