Breton: We Did It in Romania and We Will Do It in Germany

After being blasted by a Hungarian member of parliament and by Elon Musk, former EU Commissioner Mr. “War Economy,” Thierry Breton, clutched at straws as he attempted to deny he ever said the EU would cancel election results in Germany in case of an AfD victory.

This is what Breton said in a television interview

last Thursday: Europe should, “keep our cool and enforce our laws in Europe when they risk being circumvented and when they can, if not enforced, lead to interference… We did it in Romania and we will obviously have to do it if it is necessary in Germany,” he said.

Formally, Breton was referring to the application of the EU inquisitorial tool called Digital Services Act, which is supposed to prevent misuse of digital platforms, but de facto this is the tool that was used by the Romanian constitutional court to invalidate the election victory of outsider candidate Calin Georgescu.
