Croatian President Zoran Milanović overwhelmingly won his election Sunday with 76% of the vote, while his opponent, Dragan Primorac received 26%. Milanović is outspoken in his opposition to arming Ukraine and has criticized the “non-democratic” nature of the European Union. He has also been critical of Israel’s barbaric actions in Gaza. His reelection is another strong indication of the revolt against Brussels and NATO from within the EU. At his victory speech on Sunday Milanovic said the election is a message “about the state of affairs in the country for those who need to hear it,” reported AP.
