Palestinians in Gaza initially celebrated when the news of the ceasefire agreement in Doha reached them, but the IDF cut short the celebrations with more massacres. As of about 1800 GMT, the Health Ministry in Gaza had put the death toll at 87 resulting from Israeli strikes reported Al Jazeera. Many of the attacks have been in Gaza City, with the majority of the victims being women and children. The attacks have also spanned the al-Mawasi evacuation zone and the central area. At least 20 children and 25 women are among the dead.
