On Feb. 21, President of Chad Mahamat Idriss Déby began a visit to Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, where he was greeted by the country’s President Ibrahim Traoré. During his visit, the Chadian President also attended the opening ceremony of the 29th Pan-African Film and Television Festival in Ouagadougou.
The two leaders discussed their quest for true sovereignty, the fight against neocolonialism, the development of genuine endogenous capacities in strategic areas, and security challenges.
