Global Times reports that China’s Commerce Minister Wang Wentao, in a letter to U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick on Feb. 19, said that the U.S. unilateral tariffs disrupt normal trade and economic cooperation. At the same time, more than 30 World Trade Organization member countries expressed concerns over U.S. tariffs at the first 2025 meeting of the WTO’s General Council on Feb. 18, Xinhua reported.
