Wang Yi in Munich Insists, ‘All Efforts To Create Peace Must Be Supported’

At the Munich Security Conference, the outgoing head of the conference, “Crybaby” Christoph Heusgen, in a discussion with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, asked the minister if China could not exert more political pressure on the “gas station with an army” (Russia) to end the war in Ukraine. Not unexpectedly, Yi answered that China and Russia have a strategic partnership and the relationship is based on mutual trust.

“You mentioned that China can stop buying gas from Russia,” he said. “Well, I would like to ask the following question: If China does not buy gas from Russia, which country can supply enough gas to meet the needs of the Chinese people? It’s not possible and it’s not safe.” “We can’t allow that. We must take responsibility for our people.”
