Right wing racist and member of the Israeli Knesset Itamar Ben Gvir was ecstatic at the prospect of removing the Palestinian population from Gaza. “President Trump on very important things: The only solution to Gaza is to encourage the migration of Gazans,” he said on X. “When I said this time and again during the war that this was the solution to Gaza, they mocked me. Now it is clear: this is the only solution to the Gaza problem—this is the strategy for the ‘day after.’ I call on the Prime Minister to announce the adoption of the plan as soon as possible and to begin immediate practical progress.”
Meanwhile, the Zionist youth group Betar, followers of fascist Ze’ev Jabotinsky, is threatening anti-Zionist activists with reminders of the explosive pagers that Israeli intelligence used against Hezbollah members in Lebanon last September. Betar News posted a video on Instagram in which one of their members ostentatiously planted a fake pager in the coat pocket of peace activist Norman Finkelstein on a sidewalk in New York City, while trying to harass him. “This kapo is an enemy of the State of Israel. We hand out beepers and report jihadis to @icegov,” the posting declared. It included the disclaimer “This content is not intended to hurt, threaten, or cause any harm to anyone,” but the message is pretty clear.
Betar also called on Jews in New York to hand a similar fake beeper to Jewish intellectual Peter Beinart for publishing an essay in the New York Times entitled, “"States Don’t Have a Right to Exist. People Do.”
