Italian Maj. Gen. Maurizio Boni (ret.) was at the Feb. 14-16 Munich Security Conference and wrote a report for the Italian military magazine Analsi Difesa on Feb. 17. After having listed interventions by leading speakers, his conclusion is:
“It is, as we have seen, a surreal dialogue (or rather monologue) from another world, disconnected from reality, in which the mainstream of expectations has been punctually belied by the course of events, which we cannot govern in any way.
