Russia has repeatedly stated that the deployment of European troops into Ukraine in the guise of peacekeepers is totally unacceptable. President Donald Trump has repeatedly stated that there will be no American troops sent into Ukraine. Which leaves it to the Dr. Strangeloves in London to keep alive the flame of a NATO war against Russia, by offering to step into the breach themselves.
Take the case of the former chairman of the U.K. House of Commons defense committee Tobias Ellwood, who told Britain’s i Paper there was now an “active debate,” including in Ukraine on whether Europe should reject President Donald Trump’s efforts to stop the war and go it alone, in further arming Ukraine and providing air cover itself, possibly to police a no-fly zone, in the hope that Ukraine can regain territory.
