Russian pranksters Vovan and Lexus spoofed a close collaborator of Friedrich Merz, Johannes Wadepuhl, who believed he was talking to an advisor to Zelenskyy. Wadepuhl said a Merz government would deliver Taurus missiles to Kiev, but not before May, after a new government is formed. He also said he was aware that such missiles would be operated by Western (i.e., German) specialists. He said he was aware that there are contacts between Kiev and Moscow behind the curtains, and asked what is Zelenskyy’s assessment of it. As for the elections in Germany, he said the AfD is an annoyance but they will never get into the government. Anti-Spiegel editor Thomas Röper will interview the two pranksters on Feb. 2.
