EIR readers should be aware that it is not “the Europeans” who want peacekeeping troops in Ukraine, but the Anglo-French axis and their satellites. To name the three largest EU members (excluding France): the Italian government, the Spanish government and the German Chancellor in pectore are against it. Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s office said that the issue is not on the government agenda. The German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, likewise under the cover, told by ZDF TV channel one week ago that “currently, this question does not arise.” And Spain said on Feb. 25 that it was against any deployment of European troops in Ukraine.
