March 21, 2025 (EIRNS)—Foreign Minister of China Wang Yi is in Japan for a Saturday, March 22 meeting with Foreign Minister of Japan Takeshi Iwaya and Foreign Minister of South Korea Cho Tae-yul. The three will discuss the planned trilateral summit among the three countries to take place in Japan later this year.
The three foreign ministers met with Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba on March 21.
On Saturday, representatives of the three countries will also conduct bilateral meetings, and Japan and China will hold the Sixth China-Japan High-Level Economic Dialogue.
