March 16, 2025 (EIRNS)—That is the headline on a March 15 article in Financial Times promoting a new feature of the British policy of entrenching Schachtian economics across Europe: the issuance of massive volumes of worthless financial instruments to be used for revanchist military rearmament, targeted against Russia in the East. That precise policy was orchestrated by London in its Hitler project in the 1930s, with rather inauspicious results. Now they are repeating it, something less than a century later.
FT explained that “Brussels is exploring building a new satellite network to provide military intelligence, as doubts mount over the U.S.’s commitment to European defense. The system would aim to partly replace U.S. capabilities, after President Donald Trump’s pause on intelligence sharing with Ukraine this month highlighted Europe’s reliance on America.” The article quoted EU Commissioner for Defense and Space Andrius Kubilius telling it: “Given the changes in the geopolitical situation, the European Commission is considering expanding its satellite capacities to improve geospatial intelligence support for security.”
