March 30, 2025 (EIRNS)—The leaders of China, Vietnam and many Asian countries will participate in a parade “dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War in Moscow on May 9, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko told TASS.” Other world leaders, including Brazil’s President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, have also confirmed their attendance.
“I plan to come to Russia on May 9 to take part in the celebrations of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in World War II,” the Brazilian leader said at a press conference following his state visit to Vietnam. He added that he plans to discuss the potential peaceful settlement in Ukraine with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin during his visit to Russia in May.
