March 1, 2025 (EIRNS)—Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, in a statement issued today, called Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s Feb. 28 visit to the White House “an epic political and diplomatic failure of the Kiev regime.”

“With his outrageously rude behavior during his stay in Washington, Zelenskyy re-affirmed his status of the most dangerous threat to the international community as an irresponsible figure that can stir up a big war,” she said. “It must be clear to everyone that this kind of attacks coming from a terrorist leader are quite unambiguous.”

Zelenskyy “will stoop to anything in pursuit of his goals and is obsessed with preserving the power he has usurped,” Zakharova went on. “This is why he has destroyed the opposition, built a totalitarian state and is ruthlessly sending millions of his fellow citizens to their deaths. Under the increasingly deteriorating political conditions, this figure is unable to show a sense of responsibility and is therefore obsessed with continuing the war and rejects peace, which means death to him.
